1933 Auburn 8 105 Salon Phaeton Sedan

The Auburn cars of the early 1930's were designed with cues taken from the earlier Cord L-29's, tall belt line and aggressive short windshields. The 8 cylinder series features inline L head 8 cylinder engines combined with a 3 speed transmission as well as the availability of two speed differentials and much more. They were known for being a tremendous value for the money back in the day and the same holds true today.

Presented here is a very nice example of the 8-105 model Auburn in Salon Phaeton sedan body style. Today the car presents itself well in two shades of green with a complimentary green interior and tan convertible top. The Auburn L-head inline 8 cylinder engine fires up remarkably easily and idles smoothly. It rides on wide white wall tires on painted spoked wheels. Previously part of the famous John O'Quinn car collection, the car has recently been through a full service and as such runs beautifully, a true joy to drive and enjoy.
